Crown Casino Game – Optional Character Quiz

I know that Character Quizzes aren’t everybody’s thing. On the other hand, I’d like everyone to have their part to play, and that’s easier to achieve if I know something about the characters as I’m working on the game. Your replies can be as short or long as you wish, but as you look at them, be assured that answering the quiz won’t be time wasted.

And if quizzes REALLY aren’t your thing, then it would be good to get at least a paragraph or so about your character.

Quiz Questions

1. Name

2. Age. The maximum age is around 50, but that’s only for children of Caine, who might have been brought to Amber during Eric’s reign. More likely is that they are somewhere within the range of 30-40, and were brought to Amber as children during Gérard’s Regency, or after Random’s Official Coronation in Amber in 4,485 AP.

3. List your top three Elders as parents. Random, Brand and Corwin are not available. I don’t guarantee that you’ll get your top choice, but it’s useful to know what you’d prefer.

4. Do you have a particular mentor or friend in either Amber Castle, the Casino or Amber City? If so, tell me a little bit about them (although the GM reserves the right of veto).

5. Up until now, what has been the defining moment in your life? The death of a loved one? A serious accident? A close shave? A childhood adventure? Tell me a little about it.

6. The PCs can choose to either be hands-on, or in the lower management of the Casino. Which area are you interested in working in? Options include: the Casino floor (croupier, dealer, pit boss, etc), security (overwatch, physical, etc); the hotel side (management, reception, etc); hospitality (catering, entertainment, looking after the high rollers, etc), engineering (maintenance, keeping the place running, etc) or pretty much whatever takes your fancy as long as it’s plausibly involved with the Casino

7. What do you consider your strengths and weaknesses to be?

8. What are your hobbies and interests, outside of your day-to-day work at the Casino? (Name up to three)
